From MIKE2 Methodology
An Information Maturity (IM) QuickScan is used to get a quick assessment of the organisations' practice in relation to how it manages its information. It complements detailed reviews of existing client artifacts, interviews around current-state issues and future requirements and comparisons against best practices.
The goal of this particular task is very much a "QuickScan" as opposed to a detailed and long-running process.
