This deliverable template is used to describe a sample of the MIKE2.0 Methodology (typically at a task level). More templates are now being added to MIKE2.0 as this has been a frequently requested aspect of the methodology. Contributors are strongly encouraged to assist in this effort.
Deliverable templates are illustrative as opposed to fully representative. Please help add examples to this template that are representative of the proposed output.

The Initial Report Design task establishes standards for developers to follow when creating any BI Applications. Any early prototype shown to the users should be revisited with them. Before the design process for this interface begins, it is important to determine whether there are any standards established for creating interfaces. If so, this application should conform to the existing standards. If no such standards exist, then it is important to take the time to get agreement on this area. Some of these initial standards were developed during Phase 2 at a high level.

Mock-up report screens (without real data) may be created to help users capture the look-and-feel of reports.

NAME DESCRIPTION APPLICATION
SCENARIO DATE Scenario Date is the date on which the reporting data was produced. Report content is constrained to data with the selected Scenario Date.
LEAD TIME The Lead Time dimension groups stock items based on Inventory Lead Time into one of the following categories -

> 30 Days, > 90 Days, > 180 Days, > 365 Days.

Report content is constrained to stock items within the selected Lead Time category.
(The categories correlate to Readiness NTM periods and the report therefore shows items that CANNOT be procured within the NTM time frame.)
READINESS (NTM) Readiness (NTM), or Notice to Move, represents the notice period available to a force element to deploy and therefore the lead time available for procurement prior to departure. It groups stock items based on Inventory Lead Time into one of the following readiness periods -

< =30 Days, < =90 Days, < =180 Days, < =365 Days.

Report content is constrained to stock items with an Inventory Lead Time that does not exceed the selected Readiness (NTM) period.
(The report therefore shows items that CAN be procured within the NTM time frame.)
SUSTAINMENT PERIOD The sustainment period dimension groups data by sustainment period. Report content is constrained to data with the selected Sustainment Period.
INVENTORY LEAD TIME Inventory Lead Time is the time required for a stock item to be received from the time it is ordered. If missing, consumables default to 90 days, repairable to 180 days. The Scenario Date is used to determine the applicable Inventory Lead Time for each stock item. Report content is constrained to stock items with the selected Inventory Lead Time.
STOCK ITEM OWNER CODE Stock Item owner is responsible for stock levels and procurement of a stock item. Missing stock item owner code is assigned a default of "UNKNOWN". Report content is constrained to stock items with the selected Stock Item Owner Code.
NSN

’ s IN SHORTAGE

This is the subset of stock items that have a non-zero shortage quantity. Report content is constrained to stock items with a non-zero shortage quantity.
STOCK ITEM CODE & DESC This is a concatenation of stock code and stock description used to identify an NSN. Drag on to report to replace the current view with one where each line represents an NSN.
SYSTEM INVENTORY TYPE VIEW View of system inventory types without double-counting of multi-mapped NSNs. Shows correct content without INVENTORY dimension. (See report training material.)
