JSR 168 Concept

This is a Concept Article which is used to describe a key Information Management concept. The purpose of this article is to provide a general definition of this concept.

JSR 168 provides a standard programming model for creating portlets and for providing a library of ready-to-use portlets. JSR168 portlets makes sure that portlets under this library may run on any standards–compliant portal server.
