MIKE2.0 and the Scope of the IM Workstream

MIKE2.0 provide a worksteam for Enterprise Information Management that tries to bring out the concept of Information Development as a separate competency. In some delivery models this may overlap in areas such as Infrastructure, Testing and Systems Integration.

The initial focus of MIKE2.0 was in the area of Enterprise Data Management and has grown from there include a more complete scope. As it has grown, some solutoins have more significantly overlapped into other workstreams, such as ILM and Data Center Management.
