From MIKE2 Methodology
Overview
The Deletion Policy for MIKE2.0 allows administrators of the site to delete pages. The general policy of the site is to avoid page deletions but there are cases where it is necessary and beneficial to the overall development of the MIKE2.0 Methodology.
Only administrators of the site are able to delete pages. Administrators may view and re-instate pages after they have been deleted while they are still in the archive. Archives are purged periodically.
Pages to be deleted fall into 2 categories: Candidates for Consensus Deletion or Speedy Deletion.
Consensus Deletion
Consensus Deletion is a process whereby the community decides that a page should be deleted. Anyone can propose a page for deletion and a forum discussion takes place related to the proposal.
To identify an article as Candidate for Deletion, place the Deletion Template at the top of the article by adding the following text to the top of the page: [[{Peer Review}]]
To discuss the page on the forum. Pages are listed by article name:

Speedy Deletion
Speedy Deletion is a process to quickly remove pages from the MIKE2.0 Methodology. Pages that are candidates for speedy deletion include:
- Vandalism to the site that is clearly inappropriate.
- Duplicate pages of content that already exists. In many cases these pages will not be exact duplicates so it may go through consensus deletion or merge process.
- Pages in violation of [[MIKE2:Copyrights | copyright] policy
- Content out of scope of the MIKE2.0 Methodology, i.e. does not relate to the topic of Enterprise Information Management
- No meaningful content such as test edits, obvious spam links or corrupted images or articles.
