Responsibilities

Commercial Accountabilities

  • Makes documentation and metadata decisions which contribute to cost effective solutions
  • Maps solutions metadata to business objectives
  • Formulates metadata architecture solutions which are extensible
  • Responsible for sharing knowledge with the management team in a way which contributes to better business decisions

Relationship Management Responsibilities

Identification of all stakeholders in the MetaData environment. Dissemination of standards and guidelines for use of the MetaData to all development communities. Manage interfaces with other sources of Metadata creation Design of stakeholder communications programs

Technical Accountabilities

  • Development and implementation of a common metadta model (e.g., ‘clearinghouse language) within the Information environment
  • Metadata definitions for common services and business rule implementations within the infrastructure
  • Architecture of a production metadata environment
  • Testing Requirements for metadata management environment
  • Production Requirements of metadata management environment

Capability Development Responsibilities

  • Development of a metadata capability focused on all Information Development processes, standards and guidelines
  • Ability to facilitate work in a team environment with diverse skill sets
  • EAI//ETL services metadata
  • EAI/ETL CMM metadata
  • Data warehouse metadata

Skills/Knowledge

Knowledge

  • Knowledge / experience with the capabilities of various application and data integration technologies
  • Knowledge / experience with industry tools sets for application and data integration implementations
  • Knowledge / experience with application and data integration implementations specific to this industry
