Offering Groups

Offering Groups provide a classification mechanism for bringing together common Solution Offerings. They are grouped in a fashion that is aimed at delivering value to a C-level sponsor of an initiative. These groupings consist of Core Solution Offerings (logical technology solutions) and complementary business-oriented and product-specific solutions. Offering groups include those for:

• Business Intelligence
• Information Asset Management
• Access, Search and Content Delivery
• Enterprise Content Management
• Enterprise Data Management
• Information Strategy, Architecture and Governance
• Composite Core Solution Offerings

Across these Offering Groups there is complete coverage of all logical areas of Enterprise Information Management. The two complementary groups are focused on specific business issues for which information management is a major challenge or on product-specific implementations of the logical solution offering.
