OmCollab roadmap
From MIKE2.0 Methodology
This is a high-level product roadmap to outline what is in the works for omCollab, what we are planning to implement in the future and what one day might make it into the code. We also want to encourage you to think about what we need to do to make this a competitive product offering compared to the Sharepoints and Zohos of the software world.
Overall Delivery Programme
This model describes the overall set of delivery tasks for omCollab. Some of the product comparisons were done fairly quickly and may not be up-to-date with the latest version of products and their extensions
omCollab Release
This section needs to be updated a bit, to align it with the roadmap as the code versions below, but here's a summary of what's been completed and what is underway.

Baseline Version - Released
- A Wiki to collaboratively create and share content (based on MediaWiki which powers Wikipedia, the world's largest Wiki).
- A Blogs to publish individual or group-based information (based on Wordpress, the world's most popular blogging platform).
- Social Bookmarking for storing, sharing and discovering web bookmarks. We have released this as omBookmarks, a fork of the codebase from Scuttle.
- Search for users to discover content across federated repositories.
- Rich User Interface with advanced navigational components, an integrated skin and single sign on to provide common look and feel across the platform.
Version 1.1 - Released
This version is currently in the works and already partially completed.
