MIKE2.0 Open Source Solution Offerings are used to implement solutions to information management problems, solely through the use of Open Source technologies. The goal of MIKE2.0 is to become an organising framework for the use of Open Source in the Information Management space. The MIKE2.0 Methodology plans to evolve to include:
Advanced Collaboration for MIKE2.0All aspects of the MIKE2.0 Methodology itself are built from Open Source technologies, from the overall content management system, to the wiki, the hosting platform, even images and development tools. Using MIKE2.0, we are building a complete Open Source environment for architecting, designing, delivery and collaborating on Open Source projects. ApproachBuilding the advanced collaboration platform for MIKE2.0 led to the development of the Enterprise 2.0 Solution. Over a period of 18 months we have built an Integrated Content Repository that links private, company internal assets and solutions into the open source information management framework of MIKE2.0. TechnologyMIKE2.0 is hosted on omCollab, an advanced collaboration platform that integrates a wiki, blogs, social bookmarking and search into a single, integrated solution. All software assets of omCollab are open source and available for download. |
