It is an integration of the firm's best delivery assets into one global integrated approach to support all its capabilities. Along with our solutions and delivery tools, the ProvenCourse methodology provides the components of the delivery framework for delivering enterprise value the integrated business solutions. BearingPoint’s solutions leverage the ProvenCourse methodology by using it as a base from industry and/or technology specific solutions are launched. The objectives of ProvenCourse are well-formulated. The goals of ProvenCourse are for it to be able to deliver for BearingPoint’s clients with a consistent and methodical approach. The methodology is kept at a high level; it provides guidance on the use of BearingPoint's standard delivery tools, whilst allowing individual teams the flexibility to use client-mandated tools. ProvenCourse Delivery PhasesAll projects using ProvenCourse are conducted across 5 phases.
The key objective is to provide efficient cost effective operations of both business and technical solutions within clearly defined parameters. In this phase, solutions are reviewed and analysed for possible enhancements to further improve overall operations. Where applicable, the ProvenCourse definitions of each of these phases have been used for consistency. ProvenCourse Delivery WorkstreamsProvenCourse workstreams are a discipline or competency. They form a group of tightly coupled activities/deliverables that are typically performed together and/or are performed by an expertise-based group. Workstreams typically run the full life cycle of ProvenCourse, but can be heavily concentrated within one or more phases. A workstream may be further defined to contain sub-workstreams when the workstream is sufficiently broad that doing so improves articulation and navigation. MIKE2.0 is used as an external vendor methodology to ProvenCourse. The Enterprise Information Management workstream of MIKE2.0 has some overlap into Systems Integration and Application Development. It is serviced across workstreams such as Management, Infrastructure, Testing and Software Development. |
