SAS (Statistical Analysis System) is an information management software editor offering a large range of solutions from data analytics, business intelligence to dedicated corporate functions (supply chain, human resources, IT...) and industries (retail, FSI, health...) solutions. SAS focuses on providing its client with solutions to solve complex business problems. SAS differentiates from its competitors through:

  • Rental of the software and not purchase
  • A consistent use on each platform
  • A strong relationship with key database operators     (Oracle, Teradata and IBM)
  • A large range of products split by industries and by functions.

Key products comprise:

SAS 9.2: an integrated BI platform comprising data access, data quality, ETL, metadata management, data management and OLAP)
  • SAS Analytics: an integrated environment for predictive and descriptive modelling, data mining, text analytics, forecasting, optimization, simulation and experimental design.

SAS is also a 4th generation programming language, mainly used to efficiently manipulate data.
