Version release dates / expected timeframes for future development -- Jaakkoh 04:18, 24 March 2009 (UTC)

It would be great if you could add dates of the version releases (when did they occur) as well as add some kind of expected time frame for future development (e.g. in 2009, in 2010-11, etc).

I'm a complete newbie here, so it may well be that there's something on this in the forums. So, just a note here.. --Jaakkoh 04:18, 24 March 2009 (UTC)

Hi Jaakkoh - we actually store this information across a couple areas so we have a bit of cleanup to do. Here is a good page to start. The roadmap lists much of what we ultimately want to do and the installation page lists our recent releases and release dates. We'll also be activating new functionality on MIKE2.0 in next few days (the code is already there) that enables you to upload word docs and openoffice docs directly from the browser and convert to wikitext, its not great yet, but it is a good step to better integration with office. You can read more about our continuous integration development process here.
The best place to code, however, is our code management/defect repository. We add priority features/defects here, and over the next 3 months we plan to implement the following: 1. #70 2. #59 3. #80 (needs mediawiki to be upgraded first) 4. #72 5. #69 6. #78
Hope this helps!
